Can I see a Proof before I order?
We get this question quite often. We only email out Layout Proofs when orders are processed and paid for. This is because we need to be sure our time for putting the layout together will be covered.
Once your order is processed we then put together the layout and email it for the customer's approval.
How do I order your graphics?
All our graphics are setup to be ordered indiviually, so Side Graphics are seperate, Numbers are seperate, Names are seperate and So on. So if you're looking for a Side Graphics and Numbers you will start by doing the following:
Click on the Products Button:
Click Side Graphics Kits Button:
Click on the Picture of the Side Graphics: ( this will start a Gallery with a brief description of the Side Graphics Kit and Price)
Once you have selected a Side Graphics kit of interest, Click the Order Graphics tab:
Select your colors and add the date needed by, be sure to include the color body the graphics will be going on and ADD TO CART
If you are ordering numbers Click on the Printed or Layered Numbers Tabs and select your number style:
Then Click ADD TO CART
Once you have placed your orders for all the products you would like, then go to CHECK OUT.
Enter your payment and billing information to finish placing your order.
About how much does a graphics kit cost?
This is the most asked question, below is an estimated price breakdown before you start your ordering.

Remember this is estimated total, some graphics kits are full side wraps and will run and additional $20.00 so the above price is for a basic Side Graphics kit costing $90.00
What is the typical turn around time for my order?
Expect typically 7-10 business days from the day your order is confirmed. This time is estimated, this includes 2-3 days for layout production and to email the customer a copy of the layout. Once you have approved your layout then your order will be scaled and put into print and cut form then produced. Once we have printed / laminated / cut / weeded / labeled, your order will be boxed and shipped.
What comes with the graphics?
In the box with your order you will find an application squeegee, detailed instructions, a copy of your layout (if it applies to your order) , a stack of G-Kart Grafix Referral Business Cards, a Copy of the Referral Program, a G-Kart Grafix official decal to signify you have purchased quality graphics and a copy of your invoice.
How do you ship your graphics?
We ship our graphics UPS Ground in a 24" X 7" x 7" cardboard box. We typically charge a flat rate fee of $15.00 for UPS Ground shipping and handling when the order is placed by phone. If the order is placed through the website, then the "checkout" will total your shipping for you. If you need your graphics sooner we can ship them by 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air.
We typically do not ship any of our graphics in tubes. We have found by putting graphics in tubes it does 2 things, sometimes wrinkles the graphics, and also makes it so when the customer recieves them they must lay them flat for a half a day before applying them because they are rolling all over the place. We try our best to make the application quick and painless (as much as we can).
Please take into consideration that most graphics will take from 2 to 4 days to ship from us to you by UPS Ground Depending on your location.
Do you create custom designs?
Yes we can create custom designs for our customers. Now custom designs are priced by the hour when designing. Our Graphic Design charge is $45.00 per hour to create this unique artwork. Typically to create a custom piece of artwork it takes roughly 3 to 4 hours to design, this means if you have a custom design in mind it will cost you an additional $135 to $180 to have custom one of a kind graphics.
Now you are asking, "what do you mean by additional?"
All our graphic kits that are available on our website are pre-designed. This means we have already included the cost of design into the package price, also these kits take us less time to create resulting in a quicker turnaround. If we have to custom design a kit for a customer it will take longer to create that one of a kind artwork, which this must be compensated for.
So please take this into consideration before placing an order for custom artwork. To design custom artwork and print a graphics kit from it will cost the customer an estimated $135.00 + $145.00 for the vinyl graphics making the graphics kit a total of $280 if all graphics are only printed and not layered.
Fluorescent colors will also increase this price. So if you are thinking of getting a custom design created be sure to expect to pay about $300 or more for it to be custom.
Why do fluorescent and chrome colors cost more?
We can not print mirror chrome or fluorescent colors. These colors must be a seperate layer of vinyl and must be applied over our printed graphics. This means the graphics will cost more due to the extra layer of vinyl and the additional labor involved in artwork setup and pre-layering your graphics so you need only apply the one layer of graphics.
The colors on my graphics are different from the image I viewed on screen
Your printed graphics will vary in color from what is viewed on screen or what is printed on paper. Computer monitors use a color format called RGB. This is referred to as Red Green Blue. This format differs from what is printed because we print in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) this is the same format that your desk printer prints in.
Then you ask, why is the vinyl look different from the paper template included with my order? Because printed vinyl is different from printed paper. If you have ever tried printing pictures off of your desk printer on regular paper versus photo paper, the results are different. This also applies to printed vinyl. Every printer uses different profiles to print the same color mixture, but that does not mean every printer will create the same color. We cannot guarantee that the colors that will be printed will be the same as the layout viewed. We will try to get them as close as possible, but they will still not be exact. This is the reason for our color disclaimer.
Color Accuracy Disclaimer: The Colors viewed on your monitor may vary from the color of the vinyl graphics you recieve. Comp-Cal / G-Kart Grafix is not liable for the varience in color due to the different color formats of monitors and desk printers versus the ink that is printed on vinyl. Please be sure to make note of this if the color of your graphics is different from what is viewed online or in the installation template.
If a customer wishes to have their colors adjusted, they are responsible for the costs involved with reprints and shipping.
How durable are your graphics?
Extremely Durable. This is a typical racer question, all our digitally printed graphics are printed on premium 2mil 3M air release vinyl and then laminated with 2.5mil 3M8518 Optically Clear Gloss Overlaminate. This makes them a total of 4.5mil thick. So what does that mean? That means that you can accidentally spill fuel or chemicals on them and not have to worry that the ink on your graphic is going to wipe off. It also means that if you have a slight tire mark on them that hasn't "burned" the vinyl you can take rubbing compound (the same you use for the clear coat automotive paint ) and buff that mark off.
If you order a layered set of graphics (i.e. graphics with a fluorescent color, this top layer of fluorescent will not be laminated so it does not have the same protection as the printed graphics. )
Why is this not laminated you probably ask. We print in CMYK inks, which means we cannot print fluorescent colors and means we have to apply this as a seperate layer after the original graphics are printed.
Why can't I get an answer when I call during business hours?
Our operating hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday thru Friday, we are available Saturday by apppointment only and Sundays we are closed. If a customer calls during business hours there's a good chance we are helping another customer, working on another customers order, or in the middle of an installation. We try our best to answer every call but sometimes it's just not possible to get to it in time. That is why we ask you to leave a voicemail. We will get back to every customer as soon as possible.
Do I need a Plastic Body Graphics Application Kit?
YES, if you own a Majestic or M&M Super Tuff body you should purchase a Plastic Body Application Kit. The Reason....these bodies are extremely durable, excellant for beginners and rough competition, the problem is that these bodies emit oils and have an slightly uneven textured finish. This results in poor vinyl adhesion. The Plastic Body Application Kit is a 1/2 Pint of 3M Primer 94. Primer 94 is a liquid adhesive that seals the decal areas from the oils, it also adds a smoother but slightly sticky surface for the vinyl to adhere. The result is decals that even when hit with a pressure washer will remain in place and not blow off in the wind.
NO, If you own a Fiberglass body you will not require a plastic body application kit.
